🇺🇸 USA: South Carolina mass shooting at the Columbiana Centre mall left 14 people injured.

Nine of the injured were shot and five others were injured while attempting to flee; their injuries included broken bones and a head injury. The victims ranged in age from 15 to 73. No fatalities have been reported.

Columbia Police Chief W.H. Holbrook said 22-year-old Jewayne M. Price, who was one of three people initially detained by law enforcement as a person of interest, remains in police custody and is expected to be charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol.

At least three suspects displayed guns inside the mall, but it's not clear whether they all fired shots. "It is believed that the shooting was an isolated incident between the suspects and likely stemmed from an ongoing conflict," police said in the news release.

Police are asking witnesses to call 803-545-3525 to share any information about or video of the shooting.
